John Wagner and the AgRePlan team will be exhibiting at the 64th Annual Mid-South Farm and Gin Show, occurring February 26th and 27th in Memphis. The Gin Show will take place at the Memphis Cook Convention Center, 255 North Main Street. John will be set up with the Hurricane Ditcher Company at Booth #9072 in the South Exhibit Hall, and Tim, Jake and Ryder Johnson of Matrix Control Systems will be there, too.

Beginning on February 25th, a schedule of receptions and meetings will also occur at the beautiful Peabody Hotel. A full schedule for this show can be located here. Good luck at the daily cash prize drawings!

Mark Williams, John Wagner and GI John Priest will be representing AMW and AgRePlan at the National Farm Machinery Show from February 10 – 13, 2016. This event continues to be the largest indoor farm show in America, with 850 exhibitors covering 1.2 million square feet of floor space within the Kentucky Exposition Center. The Louisville-based show has been leading technology and agriculture for 50 years, with a full schedule of exhibitions, seminars, presentations and the infamous tractor pull.

In fact, the technology can be applied to any circumstance where a material needs to be compacted. Precise GPS measurements and innovative software combine to give an operator the ability to visually track compaction progress, working area and elevation targets.

Proper compaction in an open silo is crucial to silage production. Inadequate compaction of material can result in major loss of profits due to poor fermentation. The job of the operator is to remove oxygen by spreading even layers of material, and driving over just enough times while not missing any area.

A.G.S. at the Water Valley, Kentucky Winter Ag Conference


Chris Tucker, of A.G.S. Sales and Consulting in Murray, will be an exhibitor at the 2016 Winter Ag Conference in Water Valley, Kentucky. This event is hosted by the University of Kentucky College of Agriculture, Food and Environment, and will include presentations on tiling and fertilization options.
